Welcome to Lee's Summit R-7 Child Nutrition Services!

We have been receiving phone calls asking about Curbside meal service for August. We have made the decision to start up again to help out the community and our students. Waivers are in effect until the end of August that will allow us to continue to feed families free of charge; parents can pick up meals without their students, no information is required; family or friends can pick up for each other...............

We are going to offer the curbside at:

Trailridge Elementary 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

Prairie View Elementary 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

Lee's Summit North High School 11:00 am to 12:00 pm

We will have meal pick up on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Monday will include 3 breakfasts and 2 lunches and Wednesday will include 2 breakfasts and 3 lunches. We will have items that will need to be heated up in the oven or microwave with heating instructions and a few cold, ready to eat items. Hamburgers, buns, fries, corn, applesauce, chicken fried steak/biscuit, green beans, popcorn chicken ,tots, sausage patty/biscuit, breakfast burrito, etc.

With all the surveys going out about attending school in person or virtual, we are going to rely on social media to help us with counts on what we will need to prepare each day at each site. Please pass this on to friends. If you would like to utilize this service, please message us on Facebook (you do not have to give us your name) which location and how many you will be picking up. You can also call 816-986-2200 or email with that information. We plan to start on Monday, August 3 through Friday, August 28. Monday and Wednesdays only.

Our mission is to provide food service meal opportunities that meet the nutritional needs of students grades PreK-12 at an affordable cost, encouraging healthy eating habits, personal fitness, and proper dietary choices.

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.  To answer your questions on our program and meal service, we have created a 411 sheet:  Nutrition Services 411
