Curbside Meal Service

We will continue to offer curbside meals for students not attending school in person that are under the age of 18.  This includes siblings not yet in school, home schooled, online academy, etc.  We ask that parents contact our office at 816-986-2200 or email to [email protected] if your family is going to take advantage of this meal service.  We need to know how many students you will be picking up for, is LSN or LSW closest to you and what time frame works best.  We are working to offer more packaged entrees ready to reheat and need to have a forecast of how many meals we will need to pack each week.  Please give us this information before August 6.
Parents can pick up for other families, students do not have to be present and we will not ask for identification.  Right now we are looking at Monday as the curbside pick up day with the exception of holidays--if a holiday falls on a Monday then pick up would be on a Tuesday.  Once we have families' input, we will make a decision on the location and time frame for pick up.  If you have any questions, please call our office at the above number.
Curbside will resume on August 23.  We will post pick up information on this website and also send out information in the Messenger.

Menus are subject to change due to availability of product.

Our mission is to provide food service meal opportunities that meet the nutritional needs of students grades PreK-12 at an affordable cost, encouraging healthy eating habits, personal fitness, and proper dietary choices.

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.  To answer your questions on our program and meal service, we have created a 411 sheet:  Nutrition Services 411
